Diary entry #2

June 24th 2019

God has surrounded me with some of the most incredible little women on the planet. Their wisdom far surpasses my grown-up intellect. Their love shows me hope on the horizon. By Gods Grace I get to be there dad; it’s an honor too great to fathom and a responsibility that I will forever bow in reverence toward.
Today we caught bass, we paddle-boarded, we ran w/ labs and we laughed a whole lot. We miss you so much babe; words can’t even come close but we cling to a promise — death has been swallowed in victory, the pain is real but it has no power. We are shaken but not defeated. From these ashes, beauty is now rising up to bellow a mighty trumpet of praise. What the enemy has meant for chaos and destruction has been recreated into an immeasurable catalyst to draw many back to the heart of God.
We are getting back up. This is just the beginning.
